Blackheart Killer Ant tube amp debuting at NAMM

Blackheart Engineering will debut their latest amp, a tube amp named Killer Ant, at NAMM. Gearwire reports that Killer Ant will cost around $140, and boast Class A, single-ended circuitry, delivering responsive tube amp tone at practice amp volumes.

Here's part of the Gearwire run down:

To get this low volume tube tone, the Killer Ant utilizes an all-tube circuit without the high power tube output section. In its place is an all-tube power block that pumps out less than a watt.

The Killer Ant is paired up with the BH110 Killer Cab, which is a little larger than the size of your palm, unless you have freakishly large palms like Dave Grohl in the “Everlong” video. Man, that was a great video.
