These US-made hand-wired amps are meant to be more accessible, priced hundreds of dollars less than other similar spec amplifiers.

Like the flagship model Jimmy, the Jean series amplifiers are all made in Devilcat’s Statesboro, GA facility, following the same quality requirements.

These three new amplifiers are designed to be affordable alternatives to expensive “one trick pony” boutique amps that are on the market. Although they are trimmed down compared to the flagship model, it does carry added features that make it useful in more situations.

The Jean series is described as having tones that can be applied in any genre. To quote Devilcat, these amps “will make you understand that the blues isn’t the only thing that comes out of Statesboro!”.

The descriptive name of the three “Jeans” give clear hints as to what each amp can do. From straightforward clean to overdrive to dirt with extra gain, you will find the right Jean to suit your playing style and current rig.

Universal to the Jean Series is the addition of a boost channel for playing loud and a speaker attenuator that drops the wattage to 1/4 power for playing soft. Another common feature that the three amps share are Jensen Falcon 12″ speakers. For easier rig integration, Chris Mitchell and his team equipped the amps with series effect loop. Finally all the amps are secured inside a galvanized steel chassis that feature corrosion resistant hardware.
