Orange Amplification relaunches Crush PiX range

With great sound, great looks and packed full of cool features the new Orange Crush PiX range of amps are being upgraded to pack more punch and offer more great value for money.

The improved range of Crush amplifiers now extend from the Crush PiX CR12L through to the new 100 watt CR100 BXT, offering a multitude of choice covering a total of eight models ( including the Micro Crush CR3 which is unchanged ). Incorporating all of the style you would expect to see in Orange amplifiers, the Crush amps include genuine Orange grill cloth, miniature Orange crest finish, signature Orange picture frame edging, exterior beading and the unique hieroglyphs easy to follow symbols.

Orange have drawn upon more than 40 years of amplifier construction expertise to improve range of Crush amplifiers to ensure they are as equally at home on a tour bus as they are in a bedroom.

Key upgrades include:

- More power within the same size frames for example the CR10 is now CR12L with two extra watts of power, there’s five extra watts on four of the models so the CR15 is now CR20L, CR15R now CR20LDX, CR30R now CR35LDX, CR20B now

CR25BX and the CR35B gets a serious power surge with 15 watts of extra punch and is now the CR50BXT.

- New built in guitar tuner and integrated digital F/X with choice of sixteen cool sounds on the CR20LDX and CR35LDX models so now’s there’s even more rich variety of tones on offer

- CR50 BXT upwards have Aux input for MP3/CD for jamming along with your favourite recordings

- New CR100 BXT with 100 Watts RMS, class D amplifier, 15” speaker, tuner and MP3 input.

The new Orange Crush PiX range are the ultimate combo practice amps, perfect for rehearsal or smaller performance environments. They combine portability with solid Orange construction, and durability through using tried and tested Orange parts. They have been built to deliver Orange high standards of quality, looks to turn heads and sounds that will send a shiver down your spine. Now there’s even more rich variety of tones on offer in the Crush PiX series.

The new range will be debuted on the Orange booth at the forthcoming Nashville show.

Thanks for the info. I wonder how this amp is gonna hold up against Roland Cubes. If the have a model that's small enough and can be battery powered, I might be interested in buying.
