Tanglewood is set to unveil the latest addition to their amplifier line at the 2015 NAMM Show, the T3 acoustic amplifier.

This combo amp is the second to come out from the company’s new amplifier line, designed to handle acoustic instruments and provide essential tone shaping tools all while retaining a compact form factor.
This UK based guitar company will be among the many manufacturers that will be showcasing their latest products at the upcoming 2015 NAMM Show which is scheduled to take place in Anaheim, California on January 22 to 25. Along with this new amplifier, the Tanglewood booth will have their popular and new acoustic guitars on display.
Tanglewood T3 is the more compact and tamer brother of their first amplifier release, the T6 acoustic amp. The company designed T3 to have half the power and volume of its bigger sibling while retaining its tone. It is also smaller and lighter, making the amp more portable and ideal for mobile gigs and events.
The T3 is a 30W, twin-channel, compact acoustic amplifier, which drives a single 6” woofer/tweeter. It has two 1/4″ inputs (with the 2nd one being a combo jack that handles XLR), both of which have independent channels, allowing you to plug-in your guitar and a mic at the same time and have dedicated controls for the two signals. Both the amplifier section and the speaker are designed to handle vocals and acoustic guitars well, making the T3 ideal for singer-songwriters who sing and play an instrument.
Additional aux-in and MP3 player inputs are also available, allowing for quick jams with your favorite tracks, this makes the T3 a viable practice guitar amp.
On top of the conventional combo amp features, Tanglewood adds modern digital audio processing into the amp’s circuit, allowing for acoustic friendly effects that include chorus, delay, plate reverb and hall reverb. These simplifies setup for small venue gigs, jams or practice sessions, letting you have essential acoustic tones without the need to carry extra pedals.
The amp also comes with a Tuner out, Line Out, DI (XLR) Out and Headphones output, allowing for direct recording, direct output to a PA or for quiet practice via the headphones.
Tanglewood concludes: “The T3 delivers natural, clear sound quality with rich detail, in a small and lightweight package. The amp’s two channels are perfectly suited to handle guitar as well as vocals, making it a great choice for singer/ songwriters and gigging guitarists. Line Out and balanced DI Out options make the T3 an ideal on-stage companion for acoustic guitar.”
