New Bill Wyman Signature... WTF... Metal Detector

I never knew that Rolling Stonesman Bill Wyman was into metal detecting, let alone an authority on the matter. Heck, I didn't even know being 'into metal detecting' existed! I was terribly wrong. It's a huge scene with possibly more metal detecting enthusiasts than there are metal guitar players. Wild.

BILL WYMAN HAS DONE IT AGAIN

Bill Wyman has done it again. Estimated resale value in 40 years time: $34500000.67.

Anyway, Bill has introduced a Signature Detector - which may not seem like a big thing - but a Signature Wyman is like a 50s Les Paul to detectors.

“My Bill Wyman Signature Detector is lightweight, easy to use and affordable – yet has significant performance levels. It is the ideal metal detector for anyone starting out treasure hunting” Bill says on his website.

What I found nifty was that Bill's detector has a special 'dual tone facility' which separates targets into ‘good’ and ‘bad’ so you can decide if they are worth digging up or not. As you can see, metal detecting technology has come a long way. Where is the Bill Wyman good and bad sound assistance button on the guitar?

Bill's detector is also only £125.00, a lot cheaper than signature model guitars.
