Guild B-54CE Standard Acoustic Bass

In preparation for NAMM 2012, Guild has unveiled the B-54CE Standard Acoustic Bass, an acoustic/electric bass housed in a beautiful jumbo acoustic body.

Guild B-54CE

The B-54CE Standard Acoustic Bass is built on Guild’s famous jumbo body design, giving you a genuine Guild vibe without even looking at the headstock label.

It features a solid Sitka spruce top with red spruce bracing; solid maple sides, and Guild’s unique arched laminated maple back for enhanced volume and projection. Other features include a slim satin-finish mahogany neck, ivoroid body binding, lightweight Gotoh die-cast tuners, and bone nut, saddle and bridge pins. All these body features add up to provide a strong and powerful sound.

It is equipped with the versatile Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system. It’s built-in voicing switch will let you choose between two different voice settings – one with enhanced bass response and one with a flat voicing that reduces boominess. Combine the voicing switch with its tone control and what you get is an acoustic guitar that can handle various performance needs. Volume and tone controls are stylishly mounted on the soundhole.
