50th Anniversary SG Standard 24 from Gibson
Gibson have announced a limited run 50th Anniversary edition of the SG Standard 24.
It's odd looking back now to think that in 1961 Gibson replaced the Les Paul with the SG which they originally dubbed the "Les Paul/SG".
Of course the beloved Les Paul didn't stay away for long, and the SG has gone on to become a classic - think of Angus Young leaping around the stage with his faithful SG.
This limited edition comes in as many colors as the original Model-T Ford (so hard luck Angus) with a solid mahogany body in an antique ebony finish, has two Gibson '57 Classic humbucking pickups, and vintage-style tuners with pearloid tulip buttons.
The MSRP is $2,129
