Lou Pallo Signature Les Paul by Gibson

Last month we told you about the upcoming Lou Pallo Signature Les Paul - Lou Pallo was a long time friend of Les Paul and lead of the infamous Les Paul trio.

Now the wait is over, and the Lou Pallo Signature Les Paul has arrived. But there will be only 400 produced in this limited run.

Body and Finish
Crafted from a carved maple top and weight-relieved Grade-A mahogany body, the Lou Pallo Signature Les Paul follows the design of the world's most celebrated electric guitar, as conceived by the artist's longtime friend and collaborator, Les Paul himself. The guitar has an elegant Ebony Black finish with naturally finished back, sides and neck, echoing its marriage of Les Paul Custom and Standard models.

Pickups and Electronics
The Lou Pallo Signature Les Paul carries a complement of pickups and electronics designed to provide limitless tonal versatility with an equal does of vintage and contemporary. A P-90 pickup in the neck position and a Dirty Fingers humbucker in the bridge offer warmth and grind respectively, and are routed through the traditional control array of two volume and two tone pots and three-way selector switch.

Neck, Fingerboard and Headstock
The guitars neck and are made in the classic tradition of the original Les Paul. Carved from a single piece of quarter-sawn Grade-A mahogany, and topped with a rosewood fingerboard, the design incorporates a 17-degree back-angled headstock, which contributes greatly to the instrument's resonance and sustain and has long been recognized as one of the building blocks of the legendary Les Paul Standard tone.

Hardware
The Lou Pallo Signature Les Paul is equipped with Kluson-style Tone Pro tuners, a Tune-o-matic bridge, and a stop-bar tailpiece, plus the traditional aluminum strap buttons. This hardware set provides a traditional look, while also maximizing tone and performance.
