Parker debuted the Maxx Fly 7 String electric guitar at Winter NAMM 2012.
Parker pride themselves on making distinctive guitars, and now the Parker Maxx Fly 7 string is their latest move into both the premium and 7-string markets.
The mahogany body reinforced with carbon fiber glass epoxy is based on the same manufacturing techniques that they’ve used to achieve very light weight guitars in their 6 string Maxx Fly models.
The neck position pickup is a Seymour-Duncan Distortion SH6N, and it has a Seymour-Duncan Distortion TB6 in the bridge position.
It also has some of the special electronics Parker are known for – Ghost piezo saddles with a MIDI preamp, which allows the guitar to double as a MIDI Controller.
The neck is mahogany with a carbon glass epoxy fingerboard and a 25.5” scale with 24 frets and comes with Sperzel Trim-Lok tuners.
Parker have said it will go on sale for $5,999.
