One of the things that jumps out at you when first setting eyes upon the V-Hawk Elite is the combination of post-modern contours and the somewhat eerie fluorescent finish – this guitar certainly has points of difference.
Actually Fernandes call the finish “Chameleon” as the colors change as you change the viewing angle.
Fernandes say that this guitar was inspired by the North American bird of pray, and they have a trademark on the shape.
They are made in Japan with an ultra-thin neck, EMG 81 pickups, Gotoh tremolo and tuners, a smooth heel joint and a lower body cutaway to provide full access to higher frets – this is an instrument designed for lead guitarists.
