AweSome Musical Instruments enter the guitar market with their AWE-3DG, a 3D printed guitar with their T4 pickup switching system.
This guitar is euipped with a pair of T.V. Jones Power’Tron Humbucking pickups and feature a broader tonal spectrum brought about by their patented pickup switching system.
The AWE-3DG features a combination of traditional pickup design with a modern electronic system and 3-D printed body. The aim is to create an instrument with great analog tones while being reliable and versatile.
The guitar’s body and frame, having been built using 3D printing technology, is made of materials that make it virtually indestructible. This makes it an ideal instrument for the road and for places where the weather is not friendly to your treasured main axe. Although the body is hollow, it has a stability that goes beyond that of conventional wood. The neck-to-bridge area is also reinforced for worry free use and travel.
The body of the guitar comes in a familiar LP-shape, and it is available with a neo-tech like appearance featuring natural white finish. Customization and body painting options are also available.
Because of the T-4 Switch, this guitar is capable of utilizing the famoust Power’Tron pickups to its full potential by providing 76 distinct pickup tones. Each of these pickup tones are approximations of classic sounding pickups, which are enhanced by using the popular TV Jones Power’Tron Pickups.
