New additions in Behringer iAXE USB-Guitar series

Behringer will announce the CENTARI iAXE624 and the METALIEN iAXE629 USB-Guitars. The CENTARI iAXE624 features a 22 fret hard-maple fingerboard, SSS pickup configuration, Volume and 2 Tone controls. The METALIEN iAXE629 features 24 medium jumbo frets in a rosewood fingerboard with binding and triangle inlays, SSH pickup configuration, Volume and Tone control. Both can be plugged straight into a computer and turn a PC or Mac computer into a guitar amp and recording system without the need for any other hardware.

These are the main features of the two new models:

· Sealed chrome machine heads, vintage vibrato bridge and a 5-way switch

· Solid aspen body, maple neck

· Native Instruments Guitar Combos BEHRINGER Edition

· Kristal 16-track music production and Audacity editing software

· Direct operation with your PC or Mac computer—ultra-low latency ASIO driver for PC audio optimization included

· Stereo Headphone output to jam with the computer and can also be used for monitoring with active monitor speakers

    Got myself the Metalien and it’s darn goooood. Yes its got a 3.5 jack seperate to the headphones jack. I thought it’s a funny setup cos it has 3 outlets (usb, headphones, amp out) but atleast you can still use the guitar with any ordinary amp. I think alot of people strike this guitar as some flimsy bigginers gimick guitar (Plug And Rock, Yippee!) but it actually is nice to play.
