Significant price reductions for entire Fretlight Guitar Line
Optek Music Systems has announced it is cutting prices of its entire line of electric guitars. With this development, the company is aiming to make learning to play the guitar – and the typical costs associated with traditional methods of learning – more affordable for the consumer.
Musicians-to-be, as well as established players will be able to experience the Fretlight Guitar’s revolutionary lighted learning system starting as low as $299. The new pricing reflects a $100 per-unit savings across the entire Fretlight line including the FG-421 Standard Electric, the FG-431/441 Vintage Electrics and the FG-451 Pro Guitars.
The full-size, six-string Fretlight Guitar features a built-in lighted learning system hidden under the fretboard, providing a unique educational experience for everyone from beginners to the advanced player. With free software for both the PC and Mac, the Fretlight Guitar allows users to light up – on the fretboard right under their fingers– songs, riffs, chords and scales and see where to place their fingers in order to hit the right notes. Additionally, the Fretlight’s advanced technology allows users to take interactive lessons at all levels and provides a simple, plug-and-play experience via the connection of a 10-foot USB cable directly from the instrument to the computer.
The following models are available at the new lowered pricing:
The FG-421 Standard Electric (starting at $299.99) features a one humbucker and two single coil set-up on a stunning pearloid pickguard. Sporting a classic look, it comes finished in Jet Black, Pearl White, Renegade Red, Tobacco Sunburst, Seafoam Green and Powder Blue.
The FG-431/441 Vintage Electric (starting at $379.99) features a vintage two single coil set-up while the 441 features two P90 pickups. These guitars are reminiscent of the days gone by and come finished in Jet Black, Natural and Sunburst.
The FG-451 Pro Electric (starting at $699.99) is a top-of-the-line pick with two Alnico humbuckers and one screaming single coil, along with a curved flamed maple top, a smooth maple neck and a body made from Louisiana swamp ash. The Advanced Polymer Fretboard features 22 stainless steel frets imported from Germany. The FG-451 also includes a deluxe fixed bridge with through body design and a set of locking tuners and is available in finishes of Natural Blonde, Translucent Blue or Pinot Red.
