AXL releases Solid Mahogany versions of its Jacknife and Wavepoint models

AXL has released Solid Mahogany versions of the Jacknife and Wavepoint model guitars. The open-faced grain of mahogany on the AXL Solid Mahogany Body Guitars (AXL-151/155) provides both strength and excellent sustain. The guitars are finished in a satin stain to let the classic warmth of solid mahogany resonate fully and clearly.

The Jacknife guitar comes with 2 EMG-Designed Alnico P-90 pickups and has an ultra thin mahogany neck and string-through-body design. The rosewood fretboard features Abalone dot position markers.

The Wavepoint guitar comes with 2 EMG-Designed Alnico Humbuckers, a Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The mahogany neck is finished with a rosewood fretboard and exclusive Talisman fretboard inlay.

Both guitars feature gold-plated hardware, classic white pickguards and truss rod covers with an AXL Skull headstock plate logo. The Solid Mahogany Jacknife has a list price of $339.99 and the Solid Mahogany Wavepoint has a list price of $359.99.
