Hamer 'Uncle Pepper' guitar pays homage to Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club

To celebrate the recent 40th anniversary of one rock's most memorable albums, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Hamer Guitars made a very special guitar. Dubbed "Uncle Pepper," the one-of-a-kind guitar was created by legendary guitar designer Jol Dantzig, founder of Hamer Guitars, and world renowned Beatles artist, Shannon.

John Lennon has always been a hero of mine because of his deep belief in human kindness. I hope that everyone will help perpetuate his memory and add their own bit of kindness to the world by participating in the Imagine Appeal's drawing for this beautiful guitar. Drawing begins October 9th (John's birthday) at: Unclepepper.com

I don't know if I agree about his human kindness. His more popular than Jesus statement really destroyed his innocent persona. He wasn't a great Dad, nor loyal husband.

He acted like a juvenile rock star in many ways. His political views got the attention of Richard M Nixon who had him on the FBI watch list.

I know he grew up as an Episcopalean. His example is what happens when people leave the church, IMO. Not sounding judgemental.

After the Beatles split, he could have been much more positive. Instead, he opted for heroin and other substances to only become more insane.
