Welcome to AFS vol.55 with All Time Low's Alaxander William Gaskarth. ATL is currently on the road as part of the Rock Star Energy Drink AP (Alternative Press) tour line-up, and they are also part of the MTV-U Campus Invasion Music Festivals lineup in support of their current release “So Wrong, It's Right” featuring the smash hit “Dear Maria Count Me In”.
This Pop-punk force from Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland and was also listed in Alternative Press magazine's annual survey as one of the “Bands You Need to Know in '07”. All Time Low is one of my favorite new artists and I highly suggest catching these guys live when they hit your town!

For now, an '87 Gibson Les Paul Standard and 3 Gibson SG-X's (Coral Pink, Sea-foam Green and Sunshine Yellow)

Ernie Ball Regulars (11 gauge), Tunings: Standard, Drop-D, DADGAD. We tune down a half-step live.
My current rig setup consists of:
Mesa Boogie Stiletto Ace (50W) and a Mesa 4×12 cab.
The greatest invention for guitars is:
Whammy Pedal.
My normal songwriting process consists of:
Brainstorming, Garage Band, Alcohol, A knack for pop music, and Luck

All time low are legendry!! the best band on earth (or one of them)! Ive been listening to third eye blind before them, they were great, but every song written by ATL are just so …….. incredible!!!!
I played and sang four of their songs at a school gig and got a standinovaton or whatever it is – all down to the guys at all time low!

I have been obsessed with all time low ever since i heard weightless, six feet under the stars, and remembering sunday. I know all the words to almost every one of their songs. Alex gaskarth is one of my idols. I want to be a musician soooo bad. Singing is my passion. I want to be able to write songs like that. Songs that grab you. I have not found ONE song that i truly dislike. I want to go to their concert in april, theyre comin to michigan with yellowcard, hey monday, anddd (i dont remember) xD

He seems like nice person, i mean he said he’d probably be a veterinarian if he weren’t the lead singer of worldy popular band. i thank him because i was lost b4 All Time Low hit me. I had no i dea wat type of music i liked and why. All Time Low was my FIRST band in the punkrock category. They really got me interested. i love their music and now listen 2 other similar bands. I Luv U ATL… u guys rock hard… ur songs r awesome. i didn’t find 1 song on ur ‘nothing personal’ CD i didn’t like. XD

Im desperate to find out which guitar he uses in the video for weightless, its the green one, i thought it was a double cutaway les paul but i cannot find them whatsoever, its amazing i want one 🙁 and alex garskarth is god tbh, his style is amazing im the same as him in my band, singer songwriter and guituarist, me and my drummer full on idol him even though we’re a kinda different type of music, his style is just great. Also for a guy honestly his voice is crazy, ive tried singing his stuff and its just no comparison so good on you alex keep it up 😉 ps if aynone knows that guitar tell me ! 🙂
