Now, at the 2008 Summer NAMM show, Ernie Ball is introducing its patented coated Titanium RPS technology to electric strings, providing the same cure for problematic weakness and breakage and offering strings that resist buildup and provide a clear, crisp tone gig after gig.
Similar to the titanium-coated Slinky acoustics, these new strings feature triple protection: an exclusive protective coating on both the wrap wire and the plain strings as well as a patented winding of titanium wire around the lock twist of the ball end. And as has always been the case with Ernie Ball, the titanium-coated Slinky electrics are also made with the finest and freshest raw materials, in line with the company's rich heritage of superb craftsmanship and quality.
