This power supply is meant to be a small and lightweight solution for powering up your pedals, be it analog or digital, positive or negative ground, and it does so with virtually zero ground loop noise.

Ground loop hum is a common problem that pedalboard owners have to deal with every night, MXR hopes to solve this issue along with other power supply related needs, with the new Iso-Brick Power Supply.

According to the company, they ensured that each of the 10 outputs is fully isolated, eliminating unwanted ground loop noise. This will free you up to worry less about your sound and focus more on making music.

Versatility is also prioritized in building this power supply, they split the 10 outputs to accommodate various voltage and current requirements:

  • Two 9V outputs at 100mA
  • Two 9V outputs at 300mA
  • Two 9V outputs at 450mA
  • Two 18V outputs at 250mA
  • Two variable outputs adjustable from 6V to 15V at 250mA.

The two variable outputs are useful for emulating voltage “sag”, mimicking the effect of using a drained battery on your pedal, a trick that many vintage gear heads employ. This interesting feature makes it simpler and convenient to employ sag, without worrying about losing power midway during your performance.

Finally, each of the 10 outputs have on and off LED indicators so you can visually monitor your pedalboard’s power supply connection. Like their pedals, the Iso-Brick Power Supply is housed in a tank tough metal enclosure that doesn’t take too much pedalboard space.
