RJM Music Technology releases redesigned Amp Gizmo

The Redesigned Amp Gizmo has a new sleeker design, more memory and the ability to work with even more amps than the original design. The Amp Gizmo gives musicians a way to add MIDI control to equipment that doesn't normally have such capabilities. This allows users to control all of their equipment from a single MIDI controller, eliminating the need to "tap dance" between multiple foot switches. When used with amplifiers, the Amp Gizmo replaces the amp's footswitch, enabling MIDI control of all footswitchable functions.

The Amp Gizmo is compatible with virtually any equipment that has a footswitch or remote switching jack, and it can regulate up to eight individual functions. The original amp gizmo is in use by touring professionals who rely on it to integrate their rig. Dweezil Zappa, who has been using 3 Amp Gizmos on his current Zappa Plays Zappa tour, says: "In my guitar rig there are so many possible functions to control that I ran out of room to do any amp channel switching. I didn't want to give up any effects or loop control. Fortunately for me I discovered an ingenious solution for my problem, the Amp Gizmo.
