Only 600 sets will be produced, divided into the 6 different Metal Works designs.
Released earlier this year, EMG’s Metal Works are pickup covers that add vibrant colors and graphics into their normally straightforward black pickup design. As expected, Zakk Wylde’s distinctive graphics was used on some of the covers, which gave way to this limited edition pickup set.
This resulted in having three of Zakk’s trademark graphics laser etched onto the new Metal Series pickup covers – the Vertigo, Buzzsaw and the most familiar of all, the Bullseye. These designs are now included in the new ZW Set Limited, which comes in brushed black or brushed gold. This means that there are 6 unique designs available, with each one limited to just 100 pieces.
Underneath the graphics and the stainless steel caps – the Zakk Wylde Limited EMG Pickup Set stays true to what Zakk has been using a combination of EMG 81 and EMG 85. Each package comes complete with long shaft volume and tone controls for easy installation on Les Paul styled guitars.
Like the regular ZW Set, this package comes with a Solderless Install, 2 cables, 4 pieces of 25K long shaft volume and tone controls, screws and springs and a bonus EMG/Zakk Signature collectible guitar pick.
