UPDATED: $10,000 Fender Shopping Spree

I opened my email box this morning to discover a promotion from Fender offering Thousands in prizes including a $10,000 shopping spree.

With the catchphrase "Plug in. Freak out. Win big." how could I not click on the link?

The only problem with this promotion was that when I clicked on the link I was taken to the promotions page on the Fender website which, at the time of writing this looked like this:

Which is a real shame, because it looks quite interesting. Apparently the competition involves creating a video of yourself playing on Fender gear - and prizes may include a G-DEC amp.

As tempted as I am to pick on Fender for this mix-up, I won't go their they're there (we all make mistakes) :).

If the Fender website gets updated and this competition turns out to be real, then I'll post an update here.
