Steve Vai's Record Attempt

Did Steve Vai and Berkleemusic.com get the world record for the largest ever online guitar lesson?

We're still waiting on news from the Guinness World Records to learn if the record attempt by Steve Vai and Berkleemusic.com to host the world's biggest online guitar lesson succeeded.

The attempt was held last Thursday March 3rd. Rumors put the attendance at anywhere between 1,500 and 5,000 (based on how many people you could see in the chat window at different times), however Guinness are auditing the figures in detail before announcing the actual number.

We've asked Berkleemusic.com to send us the results as soon as they have them, and we'll keep you posted.
