Gibson have another one of their top 50 lists out – and yet again their are some interesting differences between their list and the reader’s poll.
I guess that’s to be expected, as many people have some quite different ideas about just what Metal is. The definition can be quite broad encompassing anything from hard blues, to 80s hair cut bands, to atonal thrash – but one thing they all have in common is the distorted guitar.
