Chord Tone Soloing: How to Create Soulful Guitar Solos

By GregX Are you tired of the same old guitar licks, tricks and scale sequences that sound great when played fast, but sometimes don’t really fit well into all slower song? How to Choose the Best Online Guitar Chord Finder

By Belle Arzadon In the old days, one had to find a guitar playing tome in the depths and recesses of a library to learn the most complex or rarest of guitar chords. It’s either that or find a pro or one with comprehensive knowledge of them. But thankfully, people today have the Internet to consult. Just knock on Google’s door, use the words “guitar chord finder” as your password and you’ll be instantly escorted to the premises of an-all knowing virtual chord master.

The Secret to Reading Guitar Tabs

By Belle Arzadon If you have neither the time nor the inclination to learn how to read guitar scales, don’t let that stop you from exploring your new found passion for playing the guitar. Guitar tablatures, or tabs, provide interested individuals a simple, no-fuss method for reading and playing guitar pieces. Kirk's Weekly Guitar Lesson: The Star Spangled Banner

By Kirk Lorange Hello, fellow twanger. It's been a while, I know, but I've been up to here in movie footage, timelines, graphics, mp3s, php and html ... busy revamping my site. I'm finally done, it's looking good I reckon and you can check it all out at Guitar for Beginners and Beyond.

Kirk's Weekly Guitar Lesson: Double Stop Blues

I just finished a new finger style lesson I call the 'Double Stop Blues'. It's an interesting one, a minimalist approach to stating a chord progression ... most are just a double stops (two notes played at once) plus a bass note. It's certainly not for complete beginners, but even though it looks and sounds quite tricky, because it's all mostly just two fingers at work at any time, it's quite easy.

Kirk's Weekly Guitar Lesson: Kirk's Back!

Hi, fellow picker, it sure has been a long time since I've posted here. I'm all caught up in fatherhood, running my sites, gigging, writing, traveling. Anyway, I'm back to give you a list of all the fingerstyle lessons I've created since my last post. There are quite a few.
