Learn to Play Van Halen Vol.3 DVD

LickLibrary launched volume 3 of their Learn to Play Van Halen series, with over three hours of guitar lessons.

This double DVD set features a fresh selection of tracks that are accompanied by step-by-step lessons on playing like Eddie Van Halen.

Tasked to teach Van Halen proteges is well known guitarist/instructor Andy James. He will guide you through various songs that exemplify Eddie’s playing style.

The lessons will take you through tracks like “Amsterdam” with its drop D tuning, “Judgement Day” with its intense opening solo and whammy bar dive bomb, “The Trouble with Never” with its melodic chorus and powerful solo, and “Poundcake” with its power drill riffs.

Jamie Humphries, known for his work with Brian May, makes a guest appearance and walks you through a track from the 2012 album A Different Kind of Truth called “She’s The Woman”. These experienced guitar teachers will walk you through the intricacies of Eddie’s technique and riffs. The lessons will also give learners an in-depth look at key elements of Van Halen’s playing style including bending and tapping harmonics. It even teaches you how to use a drill in the middle of a solo.

Like the first two volumes, this one will feature the licks, techniques, and riffs that helped propel Eddie Van Halen into his iconic status up to this day.
