Design a Pick Competition by Rotosound

Rotosound has launched their Design a Pick Competition to celebrate their new range of guitar picks.

To take part in the contest, you have to submit your own design that will fit on a standard pick size and shape.

There are eight categories to join: blues, punk, metal, pop, psychedelic and jazz.

Each category will have six winners who will get 200 picks with their winning design on them. Their design will also be put in actual pick productions to to on sale worldwide.

The design has to be original and creative to spark interest, it also has to be exciting and showcase your passion for music. It should have a striking imaginative concept, well executed and have an originality and point of difference that makes it stand out from the others.

To submit your entry, you have to download the pick image template from Rotosound and create your design to fit the shape. You have to save your design in jpeg, tiff or photoshop formats and must be high resolution (300 pixels per inch). Once you are done, you can then send your entry to the specified e-mail on the contest page – along with the category that you wish to enter into. All entries must be in by 11:59pm PST of June 30, 2012.

The good news is that this competition is open worldwide. The lucky winner will be chosen by a panel of judges including the Rotosound CEO Jason How and is set to be announced on the 31st July.

Rotosound has been known for providing various guitar accessories that are affordable. Their well known for their guitar strings and are aiming to compete in the guitar pick market with their Delrin, PVC and celluloid picks.
