Gibson Through The Lens Photo Exhibit

The British Music Experience is showcasing Gibson Guitars in "Gibson Through The Lens" - and will run the exhibit until January 31, 2012.

Many Gibson guitars are known to look as good as they sound, which makes it a target for cameras that appreciate instrument aesthetics.

This Gibson visual charm is highlighted in full detail by the Gibson Through The Lens Exhibit and is sure to wow fans and guitar enthusiasts that will visit. The exhibition combines more than sixty photographs by some of the worlds most respected rock photographers.

Baron Wolman, Mick Rock, Ross Halfin, Neal Preston and the late Jim Marshall are just a few of the top photographers that captured our favorite guitar heroes as they wield their Gibson guitars.

Legendary guitar players were photographed with their Gibson, including Jimi Hendrix, B.B King, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Sir Paul McCartney, Elvis, Bob Marley and Wes Montgomery.

Here are a few more big names caught playing their Gibson guitars: Frank Zappa, Angus Young, Les Paul, Carl Perkins, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Keith Richards, Pete Townshend, Slash, Dave Grohl, Lenny Kravitz, Jon Bon Jovi, Jack White and Noel Gallagher. And it doesn't stop there because there are more artists featured at the exhibit.

Curated by music photography archivist Dave Brolan, this will be an interesting exhibition of iconic and rare Gibson related photographs. Many of the fine prints will also be available for purchase when you visit. This exhibit is for all music, guitar and photography fans to enjoy.

Some Die hard Gibson fans will also enjoy seeing guitar heroes who are usually associated with other guitar brands - being photographed while playing their Gibsons.
