Alex Alvarez who has been with Lenny for over 20 years was quoted saying “We wanted to upgrade our guitar sound moving forward as Lenny prefers to run live guitar cabs on stage. We had heard good things about 3RD POWER’s tri-cabs and, obviously, we really loved the look too. We couldn’t be happier!”

According to 3rd POWER, Lenny has unique cabinet requirements for his tour in that Lenny wanted separate guitar cabinet stacks on each side of the stage, where in various guitar and bass cabinets are integrated. These cabinets should also be running at various times during the show.

3rd POWER responded to Lenny’s needs by custom designing 112 and 312 guitar cabinets which has the SwitchBACK technology already built in. These cabinets were designed to meet Lenny’s critical standards for vintage tone. The switchBACK technology gives Lenny the tonal options he needs when playing live.

Another requirement of Lenny Kravitz is to weave bass cabinets into his rig. 3rd POWER created the custom dual jet-ported 115 Tri-Cab enclosures to fulfill this requirement, it really moves some air and integrates easily into Lenny’s live rig.

Finally Lenny Kravitz was quoted saying: “I never thought I would give up the classic 4×12. But the 3RD POWER cabinets are exceptional.”
