Trace Davis, the Founder and President of Voodoo Amplification, made this announcement when he was interviewed by Metal Shock Finland. He was quoted saying: “We are proud to announce Mark Tremonti of Creed & Alter Bridge is now using/touring with our V-Rock DL100. It goes without saying that Mark is a great player and we could not be happier to have him onboard”

The V-Rock DL Series is designed to mimic the ’80s era hot-rodded high gain tones. With its high gain, it can provide effortless pinch harmonics, endless liquid like sustain coupled with deep/rich bottom end and lush/chimey clean channel. The V-Rock DL100 has the sound and features that Mark Tremonti has been looking for.

More and more guitar players have been choosing Voodoo Amplifications, Doug Aldrich, Vivian Campbell, Jon Schaffer, George Lynch and Ty Tabor are just a few of the big names that use Voodoo amps. So it is no surprise that a guitar player like Mark Tremonti who often uses high gain tones would go with Voodoo Amplification.

Based in Lansing, New York, Voodoo Amplification is a company that designs their own amplifiers and also modifies other amplifiers to fit the client’s preference. They manufacture their amps in the US and they take pride in their 100% hand wired tube circuits. They currently have a number of amp models available and most of them are known for their high gain circuits. They also specialize in Tube amp modifications and upgrades, and although they are popular for their high gain sounds, they can cater to guitar players looking for clean and vintage tones.

The V-Rock DL100 currently retails for $2995.
