Chicago: Advanced Guitar Repair Workshop

The Chicago School of Guitar making has announced the opening of a new class - The Advanced Guitar Repair Workshop.

According to the school's newsletter, "This workshop teaches a variety of more advanced guitar repair techniques for the student desiring to go beyond basic skills and concepts. Topics include: bridge fabrication and location, headstock and crack repair, making a proper bone nut and saddle, and modifications such as cavity routing and making pickguards, among others."

The workshop runs Thursday evenings, September 13 - October 11. Class meets from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.
