New Lynyrd Skynyrd guitar tuition DVD launched
Lick Library have released the classic guide to playing Lynyrd Skynyrd tracks. This new double DVD set features some of the worlds most recognisable rock tracks including the famous Freebird.
The full track listing includes Sweet Home Alabama, Simple Man, Tuesday’s Gone Gimme Three Steps and Freebird. Each song is broken down into bite sized parts, including Intro Riff’s, solo’s, verse, chorus, outro and key phrases. Lick Library’s easy to learn lessons dissect the songs into manageable sections covering note by note, picking patterns right down to the famous opening solo in the great Freebird.

A wide variety of guitar techniques are covered: For example 12/8 timing in Tuesday Gone, through to using a slide in Freebird. Lick Library have also uploaded a free to watch exclusive interview with Lynyrd Skynyrd founding member Gary Rossington, taken at the recent Winter NAMM 09 show in California
The Learn to play Lynyrd Skynyrd features top guitar tutor, Danny Gill who is a former pupil of Joe Satriani, and co-author of the Musicians Institute Rock Lead Guitar series. His songs have appeared on numerous TV shows including 'The Osbournes' as well as motion picture soundtracks such as 'Insomnia' and 'Under Siege'.
