This week's featured article on Gearwire.com features an introduction to Taylor Guitar's new line of XXXV-GS model acoustic guitars. In celebration of Taylor Guitar's 35th year, Taylor has introduced an elegant new acoustic guitar model to commemorate their anniversary. The XXXV-GS Series, or Armrest Series, includes a selection of four premium acoustic guitars that feature the GS "Grand Symphony" body with the addition of an armrest; a new integrated guitar accessory not present on Taylor's previous models.
Located at the base end of the guitar's lower bout, the armrest features a soft contour; allowing for a comfortable resting place for the picking arm.
Inline with Taylor Guitar's high standards for acoustic guitar aesthetics and craftsmanship, the new XXXV-GS showcases the brand's exceptional attention to detail in both look and build, resulting in quite an elegant instrument. The premium models feature exotic woods that make up the guitar backs and sides. They include fiery cocobolo, AA-grade Madagascar ebony, golden quilt maple, or feathered walnut.
To further commemorate the anniversary, a subtle 35 inlay is found in between the 11th and 12th frets of these guitar models.
Some Additional Features:
- Tone Enhancing CV Bracing
- Expression System Pickup
- 900 Series Abalone Rosette
- Gold Gotoh Tuners
- All Gloss Finish
Available this winter, one of these guitars can be a valuable addition to your collection of musical instruments and gear.
