The DC Voltage Company recently unveiled their latest P3 Signature Series model, the David Barber Overdrive Pedal.

This overdrive pedal updates the tone of the Barber Overdrive circuit with P3 Phantom Technology, building it into a sturdy and professional-grade pedal.

The new David Barber Overdrive Pedal is designed to deliver softer midrange and wider frequency response. And now with P3 Phantom power, you can better enjoy the pedal without any worries about the battery or power adapters failing.

By remotely supplying regulated power through standard cables, the P3 Phantom Power Technology completely eliminates the need for 9-volt batteries, cuts power cabling, cumbersome wall-warts, and the need for AC mains at the pedalboard. It means better floor pedal economy and space. Aside from powering up your pedal, it stabilizes tone and greatly suppresses ground-loop hum. It also stops voltage droop and resulting signal loss or degradation.

A toggle switch on the top of the pedal allows for easy control of the unique Boosted Bypass feature also called as B-Buff. When you toggle it on, the bypassed signal is also boosted cleanly by an amount set with the Drive knob and when you turn it off the bypass signal passes through untouched. This built-in feature offers a way to prevent "tone suck" when driving long cables or low impedance pedals.
