Black Cat Pedals has a new dual channel overdrive/boost pedal, the Black Cat OD-Boost.
This pedal is based on the Black Cat OD-1, only this time it comes bundled with a clean boost circuit.
Like other Black Cat pedals, the OD-Boost comes in a sturdy chassis with a powder-coat finish chassis and two-color graphic. The circuit inside the metal chassis matches the quality of the outside, featuring professional black glass epoxy PCB with yellow screen.
This pedal features two channels that allows for a range of overdrive tones. You can have both channels working simultaneously or you can change the order in which the channels are chained together. You can choose whether to have the OD go into the Boos channel or vice versa. There is also a switch to change the order in which the channels are stacked, allowing the option of selecting OD into Boost, or Boost into OD.
Following the design of the Black Cat OD-Fuzz, the OD-Boost combines two distinctly different circuits of pure gain and allows them to interact without compromising the tone. Other features of the pedal include two 3PDT true-bypass switches per channel, 2.1mm Boss style power jack, and optional internal 9V battery port.
