eStrap turns body movement into sound effects
Hey does anyone know if Matt Groening based Ned Flanders on Ned Steinberger (well at least appearance?). Anyway! Ned Steinberger's new strap controlled 'expression' system, eStrap, translates natural playing motion into sound effects.

The company teaming up with Ned, Atlantic Quality Design, asks what if you could use body motion to add expression and excitement to your sound?
"That's exactly what the wireless eStrap does! A radio transmitter mounted in the strap senses the motion of your body and the instrument and controls your sound effects in real time" they say on their website.
eStrap is made up of two main elements: A high quality motion-sensing guitar strap with radio transmitter, and an effects controller with internal radio receiver.
I watched the video on Atlantic's website and was pretty impressed with the sound. I suggest you check it out: http://www.aqdi.com/estrap.htm. I want to see some full stage action with it though. If you have any, post it on YouTube, send me the link.
eStrap Specifications
Power: 9VDC, 50mA (effects controller), 2xAAA batteries (strap sensor)
Signal Loading: 2.2 million ohms
