Ottava Magus released
The Ottava Magus may be a traditional octave fuzz, but when it comes to its range of tones, expressive feel, and inspiring character, it's anything but traditional according to creators, Catalinbread.

Catalinbread said traditional octave pedals often have a problem with their intensity knobs in that they either sound good cranked up or turned down completely.
"The Ottava Magus on the other hand has a usable range throughout the intensity rotation. On both ends of the intensity range the sound is just a hair short of insanity and a spot dirtier than clean" the company cites on their website.
"The Ottava Magus combines modern design philosophy with old school germanium for harmonically rich octave up tones, a full bodied lowend and an incredibly low noise floor."
