Phaseomatic Deluxe upgraded
The new batch of Effectrode Phaseomatic Deluxes have arrived. "Featuring an innovative mixed wave generator LFO for triangle, sine, psuedo square, rise, fall and stepped waveshapes. The first 50 of these pedals come fitted with JAN Philips 12AT7 NOS tubes in the phase-shifter section and small anode JJ 12AX7 tubes in the gain/mixer stage for low, low microphonics and hum" the Effectrode website states.

Phaseomatic Deluxe description from Effectrode:
The Phaseomatic Deluxe achieves deep, lush phasing & mesmerising vibrato with amazing presence and clarity. On more subtle settings it adds life and movement to your sound that's so natural and un-processed you'll forget it's there - until you press the bypass switch. Moving on to the other extreme, this tone machine capably produces deep 'tunnel' phasing and intense 'jet plane whooshing' textural effects that predominanted music in the mid 70's. And finally, the phaseomatic deluxe truely excels in generating a host of cosmic & spaceous sound effects heard on many B-rated 1950's sci-fi movie soundtracks.

The newly redesigned Guitarsite web site is very nice. How about if you get a real player or wav file from Electrode so we can hear the Phaseomatic Deluxe. I know you've probably thought about this and your webmaster is probably tired out, and there may be a cost consideration, but you should, you should. Have the manufacturer provide the FX, Processors, Amp and Instrument sounds already formatted for your web site, so a link will do it;)

Hey Shawn,
Thanks for your input. I agree that including sound samples where possible is a good idea. In future I'll make sure I try and track down some samples to add to the articles. Videos are also an option if available.
Cheers,
Michael
