Robert Keeley Red Dirt Overdrive
The new Red Dirt Overdrive from Robert Keeley is now available, a compact stompbox with classic tube-like tones.
Keeley is known for modifying overdrive pedals with great results, now this experience is used to produce their own overdrive.
The Red Dirt Overdrive is born out of Robert Keeley's "Mod Plus" and "Baked" pedals, combining these popular mods into a multi-faceted overdrive pedal that can handle a variety of music styles.
Finding your preferred tone should be a breeze with its three basic knobs for Drive, Tone and Level. Sonic variety is provided by the wider range covered by the pedal's drive and tone settings. You can have subtle breaking gain at lower drive settings and work your way up for heavier sustain. The tone knob gives you a variety of voicings to match the needs of a variety of guitar and amp combination.
The Level Knob is not just a volume control, it can also be used to push an amp like traditional overdrive pedals for even more sustain and grit. Just like their after-market modified pedals, emphasis is put on dynamic and touch sensitivity, the pedal is fine-tuned to respond consistently regardless of the drive setting used.
Finally, all these features are housed in a rugged enclosure with a powder coated red finish. The pedals are built in the U.S. and feature modern true-bypass switching. The first round of 100 Red Dirt Overdrive pedals will be hand signed Robert Keeley, delivered on a first in / first out basis. You can now preorder the pedal for $199 by visiting Robert Keeley.
