Studio Devil has just released an update for their Amp Modeler Pro Plug-in, a guitar amp modeler and studio effects software plug-in.
Amp Modelers will help you get some great sounding mic’ed cabinet amp sounds – without the actual bulky and expensive amp and cabinet hardware. Studio Devil is among the many producers that have embraced the digital way of producing analog sounds.
With the dawn of better and faster processors, getting highly responsive and high definition guitar amp modeling is now more than within our reach. Amp Modeler Pro has most of the regular features of hardware amp modelers, but in an efficient and recording friendly plug-in or stand alone format.
The update to the plug-in is generally all about correcting problems and bugs. You can read more about the Studio devil’s Amp Modeler Pro which is virtual plug-in available for both Mac OSX and Windows at Hitsquad.com
Studio Devil also announced that they are developing a new modeling technology. They have been hard at work getting new algorithms that will bring stunning realism to the amp modeling world. If you thought that Amp Modeler Pro sounds good now, they say that the new update will blow you away. The new amp modeling technology is slated for a release later in the year.
