Vintage Guitar Boutique 1 – VST Plugins

123creative and G-Sonique release Vintage Guitar Boutique 1, a collection of vintage amps and effects in VST format.

The VST plug-ins in this bundle are modeled from actual vintage amps and stompboxes from the ’60s and ’70s.

The Vintage Guitar Boutique 1 collection makes expensive and hard to find vintage gear more accessible by converting them into digital plugins. 123creative modeled a mixture of popular and obscure vintage gear, resulting in a bundle that can be simple and practical and yet have some experimental elements.

This collection comes with essential guitar effect plugins that will cater to virtually all styles of guitar music like blues, reggae, ska, rock, jazz and many others. The plug-ins also work for non-guitar related music, and can be very useful for the typical home studio producer, who happens to know how to play the guitar.

Each effect is designed to work in stereo, which means they can be better utilized for any type of music production. For example, you can use Tape Echo or Rotor for electronic music and the like.

Included in this bundle are 5 vacuum tube amp models. Both the tube amp and speaker elements were modeled, and each one include a built-in equalizer and a separate overdrive unit that can be turned on or off at will. The modeled amps include the Blackhead combo, Brownhead combo, Coral combo, Silky cream combo and Valverth combo.

Aside from the amps, the Vintage Guitar Boutique 1 bundle features 4 stereophonic vintage guitar pedals. The first one is called Rotor B-33, based on the popular rotary speaker effect used on vintage electric organs, great for blues, lounge, funk and similar styles. The V1 vacuum tube EQ plugin is based on a vintage tube equalizer pedal. The Tapeflux tape echo gives you vintage analog echo sounds in VST format, it can be applied for use with a great variety of music applications.

The bundle also comes with its own Tube Screamer in the form of “Tube Scream”, an effect that mimics tube overdrive pedals. It works in conjunction with the modeled amplifiers to produce vintage tones ideal for rock and blues.

Each plugin comes in .dll file format and requires a Winows 32bit VST host like FL Studio, Cubase and others. Vintage Guitar Boutique 1 is currently retailing for $19.25. You can download a beta version of the this collection by visiting 123 Creative.
