San Franciscan Brian Gore's compositions blend classical, folk, and Brazilian inspiration with the percussive influence of Michael Hedges. "Brian Gore has developed one of the most unique new acoustic guitar styles on the scene today… the performer to watch for the future," News and Review. FEB IGN TOUR THANKS
International Guitar Night: http://www.well.com/user/bkg Our performances in Canada were packed to the brim, as were our shows at Musician's Coffee House, Laxson Auditorium/Paradise Performing Arts Center, and the Spreckels Theater. People kept coming up at the end of every show saying "hey, Brian, this is the BEST ONE YET!!" WOW!!! Thanks again, all of you, for coming out for us. Thanks in particular to the Tangents and Patchwork Quilt programs on KALW, Lisa Atkinson at KKUP, Lisa Atkinson of KKUP, Ray Price at KZSC, the BEAUTIFUL Jenny Michaels at KVMR and all the GREAT PEOPLE at KCHO radio!! Also, thanks to anyone else I forgot. While we were away, the IGN video, now available through Acoustic Music Resource (800) 649-4745 was reviewed in Acoustic Guitar Magazine: "This well-produced, one-hour video features fingerstyle guitarist/composers Alex de Grassi, Paulo Bellinati, Gerardo Nunez, Peppino D'Agostino, Brian Gore and Antonio Calogero live at Berkeley, California's famous folk club (Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse). Each of the performers was taped at the venue prior to the concert, which allowed for shots that would not have been possible with an audience present - in particular, close-ups of the players' right and left hands from a variety of angles. These shots were then seamlessly edited into the actual concert footage. The result is a high-quality chronicle of International Guitar Night's moveable fingerpicking feast in which the visuals are almost as dizzying as the music." - Ron Forbes-Roberts, Acoustic Guitar Magazine NEXT >>> CLICK HERE >>> |
