LIMP BIZKIT & GUITAR REVIEWS

"NOOKE" BY LIMP BIZKIT - Here's a song that, love or hate, has propelled Limp Bizkit to the forefront of the rap/metal scene.

For this song, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland uses a custom-made Ibanez 4 string bass/guitar hybrid. By the sound of this song, it is definitely not a light-strung guitar. Actually, the lowest string is a bass string. As for the tuning, low to high: F#, F#(up an octave) B and E. Actually it's A, A, D, G down a step and a half, I think. As for the Amp, I'm guessing a Marshall half-stack, but I could be wrong. Now, the actual song can get really complicated. Say thanks to DJ Lethal for this one. Half of the time, what sounds like guitar is really either scratching or keyboards. As for the actual tab, well, your guess is as good as mine... maybe you'll get the answer here: http://www.limp-bizkit.com/

CAGTP has heaps of great stuff, such as guitar reviews like this one:

HAMMER SLAMMER
I just purchased this guitar and I have mixed feelings about it. I find the design to be great, considering the fact that, although I play left handed, I find the guitar to be very easy to play and good looking when I am onstage (with my band, Sawblade). This guitar, I admit, sounds a bit clean when compared to some of the others I have tried out. I like the dual humbucker design. The way that the neck pickup is as low as possible and the bridge is as high as possible really shows the attention to detail. If there is any major flaw, it has to be the unbeliveable action on this axe when you buy it. I'm not exaggerating, I could barely fret the notes. But again, that is easily fixed. Other than that, the guitar sounds sweet when paired with a decent buzz box, and I loved the price ($249 Canadian). Overall, a 3 and1/2 star guitar at least. by Lanny
