Jon Finn has a book available on Mel Bay publishing (http://www.melbay.com) and his web site (http://www.jonfinn.com) called "Advanced Modern Rock Guitar Improvisation". I found it to be a great source of information. The chapter "Modes for Morons" is worth the cost of the book alone. You might mention it in your newsletter. I have no connection with Jon Finn other than I highly respect his work and his instructional material which was published in the old Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazine which turn into "Guitar" magazine which went belly up some time back.

I also bought the Daily Guitar Workout mentioned in the last guitar newsletter. Thanks for letting us "players" know about this stuff. I never would have found it otherwise. -- Murf
