XXCLUB is diverse, perverse, a realtime alternative reality.Giving headonism - pushing your love buttons - an infusion of juicy acts - indie - rock - pop - unplugged and raring to go......

With mc Katherine mouthing off a better bit of banter and DJ Polly (Kentra/Sonicmook) slipping eclectic discs from the slits - underworld - supremes....

Chosen from over 2,000 entries, the three finalists in the Steve Madden/Atlantic Records Girl Band Search battle it out June 15th for first prize - an Atlantic Records demo deal and a Steve Madden wardrobe. The finalists are Jill Gioia, Fran Lucci, and Battershell. Contest "to provide inspiration and support to the creative aspirations and dreams of today's budding female artists."

The Rock N' Sole winner will be awarded a demo recording deal with Atlantic Records, along with a wardrobe from Steve Madden. "It was so exciting for us to receive so many entries for women of all ages, aspiring to be musicians," says Steve Madden, CEO of Steven Madden Ltd. "There is so much talent out there and so many deserving female artists and bands -- it was difficult to narrow the field to just three finalists. We hope that the Girl Band Search and any other searches we do in the future help to launch the careers of talented women across the country."
