Writer John Strausbaugh makes an impassioned statement regarding rock and roll. Most interestingly he takes great offence to the likes of Mick Jagger mincing around the stage, pretending to be 21 and getting right into 'Satisfaction'. Perhaps Strausbaugh has a valid point.

But should rock stars really take his advice and age gracefully? What's so wrong with 70s supergroups taking to the stage and belting out the hits and memories? After all, won't it merely sow the seeds for the next generation of rockers who want to make their own particular statements? Hasn't the existential slacker vibe of grunge paved the way for the puerile antics and posturing of nu-metal?
