THE CURE ARE BACK

The Cure, who staged a farewell tour last year, have decided to re-form.

Songwriter Robert Smith said: "We've got a tentative idea of how things might happen next year, which will include some festivals in the summer. But everything changes with us."

Expect Robert Smith to take his projects online. He aims to be his own man, as his contractual obligations to Fiction Records are almost complete.

Smith is intending to have a more flexible lifestyle, recording music and then getting it out to the fans as soon as possible. He claims that he's sick of asking permission from people younger than him to do things, as well as waiting months for music to be released. Can't blame him really!
