Lots of news in my "back to work" mailout.

That's right. For those of you who don't know already , I'm back up and running completely with a new workshop , a showroom/retail outlet and lots of new "toys" to let you all get hold of.

First off, the showroom/shop. The new Tym guitars retail outlet is attached to my workshop and stocks new and second hand guitars, amps, pedals and other music related stock. There are guitars that will only be available through the shop, so you'll all have to come and visit me. Check out the pics on the site now.

Also, my shop is Australias ONLY Mosrite stockist of guitars and parts. I'm sorry to say to the rest of the world that I will be stocking genuine USA Mosrite and Japan Mosrite guitars and parts for sale "in Australia only". I will not be shipping these guitars and parts BACK to the US. We never got Mosrites here and there's plenty of fans who want stuff down here. I love them as much as any of you ......... really.

Secondly, the new workshop. New, huge and improved. I now have a "state of the art" (well for a small manufacturer) workshop and assembly area for building, repairing, setting up and working on all things guitar related. I have been getting allot of enquiries and set up work, which will take some time away from building, but allows me the benefit of actually making a better living out of this. The new premises is about twice the size with custom built rooms designed and built specifically for/by Tym guitars. I am hoping to get production back up to nearly the same level within a year (remember I have a 10 week old and a family to support) as well as many new and hopefully more lucrative projects starting soon.

One of those is my new line of Economy effects pedals. Check out my site for details, but here's the outline. I am offering what I think is THE best value for money handmade, all metal construction, full bypass switching Vintage effects pedals available anywhere in the world. The first series of 5 pedals are available NOW for $160 Aus (about $80US) each, INCLUDING shipping to anywhere in the world or buy all 5 for $600 AUS ($300US). The first series includes a distortion, a fuzz, an overdrive, a filter and a volume pedal. ALL are very cool.

Of course the Tripletone and Buzzrite are still available with more "boutique" pedals to follow including a copy of the now famous Shinei fuzz pedal (Jesus and Mary Chain, Blur, Cosmic Psychos).

Add to this 2 new Mosrong guitars in the 301S (semi acoustic) and the 500JR (for those of you who would love an SG Jr that looks like a warped Mosrite) and you'll see what I've been doing for the last 6 months, apart from rebuilding new premises and having a child !!!!!

There will be new Wosrites to join the list soon as well as new Tym designed guitars and basses. The sky's the limit !!

So, if you're ever in Brisbane, by all means come around. If you're waiting for guitars, don't give up hope. I will be working as hard as my family commitments allow to get Tym guitars running as a business that will be known around the world.
