OK, this is a big one.
The big news this issue is the new Tym guitars pick ups. These are replicas of the famous Mosrite single coil available for both guitar and bass. I have secured an exclusive supply of these handmade pick ups which come with smooth covers and surround. They will be available from early June and I am not advertising this on my site for a couple of weeks to allow my mailout friends to order first. All Wosrites will now feature these pick ups which was the last step in the evolution of the Wosrite.
Also available soon are Tym guitars speaker boxes. This will probably not be exciting for overseas people as shipping will make them too expensive but for people in Australia they will be available in 2 x 10, 2 X 12, 4 X 10 and 1 X 15 as well as custom orders. They are professionally built and covered for Tym guitars with metal mesh fronts and will be loaded with Celestian, Eminence or Electro Harmonics speakers. Prices will be on my site by the end of June.
Also ……… it just keeps coming this issue , is the announcement that I am making a line of valve amps that should be available by the end of the year. These will be point to point , all valve power amps with little or no effects. The first will be a 35 W with larger power outputs to follow. Both guitar and bass amps will be available. Australia has a long and large history of guitar amp manufacturing and in fact Brisbane built most of them. I hope to have a small but steady supply over coming years.
The pedals are doing very well also. The budget series is selling well and there has been a resurgence in the Buzzrite for some reason. You just can’t keep a good fuzz down, especially one designed by Mosrite.
Waiting lists for guitars are still long and I wish to tell everyone that I am working as fast as humanly possible while still keeping my sanity and my family, both of which are more important to me than anything. Sit tight and good things will come.
I have added heaps more Mosrite info to the page this month so check it out. This is a never ending job and I hope to one day have the Ultimate Mosrite information site to help people understand how good these guitars really are.
