ERNIE BALL SUPPORT DISTILLERS Distillers Hit the Road Equipped with Ernie Ball With the success of their self-titled debut album, The Distillers have emerged with their most recent disc, Sing Sing Death House. Separating themselves from the rich kid punk and typical girlie sound, Australian singer/guitarist Brody Armstrong hits you hard with her tough voice and lyrics that remind you of punk's rebellious nature. With so many genres splintering off in today's punk, the Distillers hold true to an original sound born in the late 70's by such pioneers as the Sex pistols, Generation X, and the Clash. It is often noted that Brody is married to Tim Armstrong of Rancid, yet the only connection to be made is a family that knows punk music. The Distillers are currently out on Tour with No Doubt and Garbage supporting their latest single "City Of Angels". With record sales approaching 50,000, the band is building a strong fan base nationwide. After the tour, The Distillers plan on heading back into the studio for an upcoming release due out next year.
