MEET THE DONZI CLASSIC LES PAUL

Gibson Guitar‘s Custom Division and Donzi Marine have brought together two American icons in a new, limited-edition guitar. The Donzi Classic Les Paul features design elements from Donzi’s famous Classic Series boats incorporated into a Gibson Les Paul, the guitar that is recognized around the world as an icon for rock and roll music.

The new guitar is the product of an exclusive business partnership between Gibson Guitar Corp. and Donzi Marine, a division of American Marine Holdings, Inc. The Donzi guitar is the only boat-related model in Gibson’s custom series of collectible guitars modeled after American brand icons. Only 100 Donzi Classic Les Paul guitars will be produced, and they are available only from authorized Gibson dealers. Guitar and boating enthusiasts alike will see these special guitars at upcoming boat shows, guitar shows and other special events.

The Donzi Classic Les Paul features the Donzi Classic blue paint scheme with white racing stripe along with the familiar Donzi shield. All hardware and pickups are chrome-plated like the Donzi hardware, and the fingerboard sports a pearloid inlay of the Donzi logo. Standard equipment includes a custom wall cabinet with a Donzi photo backdrop, a Certificate of Authenticity, a hardshell case and a Gibson custom care kit.

Donzi Marine has already had a strong response to the guitar from dealers and consumers. “Both Donzi Boats and Gibson Guitar have tremendous brand loyalty,” says Nick Miller, Vice President of Donzi Marine. “Together we have made a high quality product that is exciting and classic.”
